Description

We are looking for an experienced software developer with experience with Node.js and Express-based web servers and knowledge of website security and API-first approaches. Experience writing microservices in Golang, Node.js and Rust is required, as well as the ability to work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and write SQL queries. Knowledge of the Prisma.io ORM is an advantage.

Areas of responsibility

• Build and maintain robust and secure API-first applications using Node.js and express.
• Writing microservices in Golang, Node.js and Rust.
• Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL and write SQL queries.
• Ensuring application security and maintaining industry standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high quality software.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express-based web servers.
• Experience writing microservices in Golang, Node.js and Rust.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Familiarity with website security and API-first approaches.
• Knowledge of the Prisma.io ORM is an advantage.
• Fluent English skills and knowledge of the German language are a great advantage.
• Ability to work within a time difference of + or - 2 hours to Europe/Berlin time.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passionate about technology and constantly updating industry trends.
