Trainee Sales and Marketing

Description

Have you studied marketing or similar and would you like to gain practical experience in the area of sales and marketing? Hotellistat is looking for motivated interns who want to grow in a young and dynamic team.

Main tasks

  • Collaborate with other teams - including engineering, product, customer support and marketing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, the market and competitors' activities.
  • Participate in forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practice.
  • Providing input to the content development team based on customer and industry feedback.
  • Assist in reviewing sales performance by analyzing performance reports.
  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences or trade fairs.
  • Support the sales team in creating proposals that provide a clear path to customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Adhere to the guidelines of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage customer relationships.
  • Assist in identifying and maintaining relationships with potential customers and partners, including conducting sales presentations and demos.
  • Support in planning and controlling all marketing and sales measures online and offline.
  • Support in creating and sending newsletters/email marketing.
  • Support and development of sales promotions for the sales team.
  • Organizational support within the sales team.
  • Communication and coordination with external agencies in collaboration with management.
  • Event marketing: Supporting the marketing management in planning and implementing congresses, workshops, customer events and internal events as well as recording the events in the CRM.
  • Content management for Instagram, Facebook and websites in collaboration with our digital marketing department
  • Taking on general and organizational administrative tasks such as coordinating appointments, preparing meetings and creating templates, documents and presentations and other office support.
  • Creating new users and hotel accounts in the Hotellistat software to support account management.
  • Submitting and monitoring bug reports from customers to the development team.
  • Submit and monitor feature requests from customers to the development team.

## Communication and Collaboration:

  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, marketing, sales and customer success.
  • Good communication skills, confident demeanor, good customer and service orientation as well as intercultural competence.

Requirements:

  • Understanding market demand and customer purchasing behavior.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; Ability to use hard data and metrics to support assumptions and recommendations and drive action.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Understanding of marketing, social media, sales and account management.
  • Good influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting with a high level of motivation and initiative
  • Fluent in German and English.
